I am Farzaneh Afshar, an interdisciplinary artist born in Iran. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Painting from Guilan University and a Master’s degree in Painting from Alzahra University in Tehran, where I graduated with the highest honors. My artistic focus lies in both physical and digital painting, as well as exploring the fusion of these two fields. My work often embodies a grotesque and dark aesthetic, deeply influenced by the environment in which I grew up, alongside diverse art and cultural traditions, including Indian, Arabic, Syriac, and medieval influences. I possess a strong curiosity about new media and contemporary art and have conducted research in these areas. I present my works in both physical formats in traditional galleries and as NFTs on various reputable platforms.
